Første ansøgningsfrist er tirsdag den 12. juni 2012 kl.12.00.

Partnerskabet skal bidrage til realisering af de kommende års sygehusbyggeriers erhvervsmæssige potentiale ved at fremme udvikling, standardisering og markedsmodning af moderne danske sygehusløsninger.

Partnerskabet råder over 100 mio. kr. i 2012-2013.  Midlerne udmøntes ved tematiserede ansøgningsrunder inden for områder, hvor der vurderes at være særligt behov og potentiale for nye sundheds- og sygehusløsninger.

Danmark blev værtsland i konkurrence med Tyrkiet med 36 stemmer mod 12 efter afstemning. Det blev besluttet på International Medical Informatics Associations generalforsamling i Hiroshima den 25. november 2009.

The International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics is being organized under the umbrella of the International Conference of RTU.

The previous similar international meetings provided in Riga (International Scientific Conference Biomedical Engineering and Microtechnologies dedicated to the 140 anniversary of RTU, 2002; the 14th Nordic-Baltic Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics, 2008) demonstrated the great interest of the participants to visit the capital of Latvia with its deep scientific, historical and cultural traditions.

Såfremt princippet om borgernes fri og lige adgang til behandling, gennem en overvejende skattefinansieret samfundsløsning på sundhedsområdet, fortsat skal have befolkningens tillid, bliver vi nødt til at se på hvilke sundhedsydelser, der er behov for – herunder deres tilgængelighed, gennemførelse, tilhørende effekter og omkostninger – i hele sundhedsvæsenet. Vi må spørge: Hvad bliver de afledte justeringer og forandringer, vores sundhedsvæsen må undergå?

En mulig tilgang til at skabe den nødvendige innovation og udvikling med e-sundhed som et underliggende tema er at anskue sundhedsvæsenet som et HELE med borger-/patientcentrering, service-orientering og sektorneutralitet. Men det er i sagens natur ikke uproblematisk. På den anden side vil det kunne bidrage til at flytte den gængse opfattelse af, hvad der er muligt, nødvendigt og realistisk.

MICCAI attracts annually world leading scientists, engineers and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines associated with medical imaging and computer assisted surgery.

The venue for MICCAI 2012 will be the Acropolis Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is located in the heart of downtown, just 15 minutes from the airport.
